In 2003, despite an ongoing recession, he created Wayne's Plumbing Etc. with a "failure is no option" attitude. Through perseverance and hard work, Wayne's Plumbing Etc. has become an industry leader in the Manchester area.

Wayne's career has given him great breadth of experience.

• 1979: started as an oil burner technician with Beaupre Heating Services in East Hartford, CT, servicing burners, boilers, furnaces, and water heaters, and converting many units from oil to gas
• January 1987 - March 1992: worked for Ted's Plumbing Co. while completing his plumbing apprenticeship at AI Prince Technical School, Hartford, CT.
• January 1990: received Certificate of Apprenticeship
• October 1992 - August 1993: worked as a licensed plumbing technician for Marec Heating & Air Conditioning, gaining experience in the service and maintenance of older plumbing systems while employing modern techniques
• 1993 - 1995: employed at W.A. Murray Inc. in West Hartford
• May 1995 - May 1996: worked as a plumbing service technician at Aiello Plumbing, Charter Oak Oil in Windsor, CT
• 1996 - December 2002: worked for ProTech Plumbing and Heating Services
• April 2003 - established Wayne's Plumbing Etc.
